How to run for office in the general Election

If you are interested in running for a position, please read this page thoroughly!

Candidates can pick up nomination forms in the SRC hallway in the SUB or online. HERE.

These forms must be deposited into the election box at the SRC offices to be eligible to run in the election. The Nomination period runs from the 11th to 18th March.

There will then be a mandatory “Candidates Meeting” the evening of the 20th from 6:00 – 7:00pm in the Library Learning Commons 122 for those who have submitted their nomination forms on time. The final deadline to submit your nomination forms is 5pm on the 20th March!

Voting takes place one week after candidates campaign period has started. From 10pm of the 20th to the 25th, candidates are able to campaign.
